Smart Martha Out and About

I want to be like Mary and spend time with Jesus,

but I really do have to get the dishes done.  I want to spend more time reading to my children, but it seems that all I do is pick up, pick up, pick up.  I want to have prepared meals and a set dinner time, but the kids have too many activities and I don't have enough time to cook.  I want to go on a date with my husband, but we are out of milk and I need to go to the store.  And speaking of your father, has anyone seen his ratchet set?

Does this sound like you?  Could you use a Smart Martha Seminar?

What are

Smart Martha Seminars?

Smart Martha Seminars are a series of presentations and discussions which are brought to your own women's group.  They are usually given on a Saturday morning and last until early afternoon.  Participants each receive an illustrated workbook which outilines the presentations and allows for notetaking.  The seminar usually lasts 4 hours.

Who are they for?

These seminars are designed for groups of mothers who want to learn how to work smarter and not harder; who want to take time to refocus and get their home life in order; and for mothers who may simply need some inspiration in this tiresome task of managing a home.

Tami,

I regret that I had to leave before I got a chance to tell you this (had to do a Martha thing)  but I did want to say thank you so much for yesterday!  Not only did you offer wonderful and clever ideas, I also loved the encouragement that you gave me over and over again - seemingly without even knowing you were doing it.  You inspired me to keep going and maybe even look at my frustrations in a positive way, possibly even a blessing!
Thank you for providing me with some much needed Mary time, which has re-energized me to be a smart Martha!
Julie E
